A scheduling technique that decides the execution order by each job's deadline, to finish work within its deadline
Setup: one CPU. P1–P4 are four programs (processes) to run. Arrival says at how many ms a process joined the line, and run time says how many ms it needs to run on the CPU to finish. The deadline says by how many ms a process must finish, and finishing exactly at the deadline counts as meeting it. (ms: a thousandth of a second)

Deadline Scheduling
Each process has a deadline by which it must finish, and each time a process finishes, the one in line with the earliest deadline runs. The goal is not to finish quickly but to finish every process by its deadline. Here it runs non-preemptively.
It is like having several assignments piled up and starting with the one due soonest.
